I read where some bloggers turned to this kind of activity because their families were tiring of the constant emails. This probably is the clue to my reason.
Another reason though is that now in my life I have the time to read almost daily. A few years ago I watched an interview of President Nixon and he was asked – “What do you look forward to doing when you retire?” He answered, “To read all the things I have not had a chance to read before.” That is exactly my feeling.
With this blog though I intend to take my reading a step further. I want to record or write some of the special meanings that each book has had for me. They will not, though, be book reports.
Along with books I also get fired up by current events from all our modern sources and since blogging exist and since I am opinionated this is a place for me.
